How can HDFC Bank revise the charges for their existing account holders ? Today its revised to 10000, tomorrow it could be Rs 20000 and so on… Very easy policy : Get hold of a customer by offering him lolipops like No minimum balance, Free account rep and all sort of available freebies on earth and once he becomes your customer JUST MILK HIM. HDFC Bank you can’t get a better cow then this !! YOU DON’T BOTHER WHETHER TO ASK A CUSTOMER WHETHER YOUR “REVISED CHARGES” ARE ACCEPTABLE TO THE CUSTOMER OR NOT !!

THE LEAST THAT YOU COULD DO AND ETHICS DEMAND TEH SAME – NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER BEFORE HAND AND REQUEST HIM TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU START LEVYING THESE CHARGES.

JUST SEE THE CALCULATIONS FOR 100,000 AFFECTED CUSTOMERS AND HOW MUCH HDFC’S CHARGES ACOCUNT GETS BLOATED

    827.25 X 100,000 = Rs 8,27,250000

AN AMOUNT OF COOL RS 8 CRORES+ FOR THE BANK KITTY AND JUST RS 827.25 FOR EACH CUSTOMER.

    THATS CALLED ECONOMICS.

    IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA

    JAI HAND !
