TaxSpanner.Com gives you an opportunity to save time and money! You can now file your 2009 Income Tax Returns conveniently from your PC!
You can now ‘E-file’ your returns by following the steps given below:
1. E-file by Self:
- Visit www.taxspanner.com select TaxSpanner Advanced and enter your data.
- Click the ‘E-file My Return’ button.
- You will receive an ITR-V through an email.
2. E-file by Email:
- Email your Digital Form 16 along with the details of income from sources other than Salary to tcs@taxspanner.com. Also, do not forget to mention your address, father’s name, gender and DOB in the email.
- You will receive an email from TaxSpanner, with subject ‘Your Return is Ready at TaxSpanner.Com’.
- Follow the instructions in the email to review your prepared ITR
- Click on ‘E-file My Return’ button. It will directly upload your e-return to income tax department’s server
- Receive your 1-page acknowledgment (ITR-V) in Email
What should you do with the ITR-V received in Email?
- Print and sign one copy of ITR-V
- Post the signed copy to ‘Income Tax Department – CPC, Post Box No – 1, Electronic City Post Office, Bangalore – 560100, Karnataka, India.’ Please note that as per CBDT Circular No. 3/2009 (Dated May 21, 2009), No Form ITR-V shall be received in any other office of the Income-tax Department or in any other manner.
- You will receive a final email from income tax department that your signed ITR-V has been received.
- If you do not receive email from income tax department within 2 weeks, send email to TaxSpanner Support (tcs@taxspanner.com)
You have 2 options to make your payment:
- Online: Pay using your credit/debit card, net banking, ItzCash card, etc.
- Prepayment through Bank: Transfer through any Net Banking account to below mentioned account. And, mention the transaction reference no. in the email when you send your Form 16 for return preparation.
- Beneficiary: Span Across IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Last date for filing your return is 31 July, 2009.
