Rapidshare recently decided to discontinued the RapidPoint programme. RapidShare confirmed that it is a company policy & no more premium rapidpoint or free rapidpoint . Previously Rapidshare reward the unloader by premium rapidpoint/ free rapidpoint for each download of their uploaded files. Rapidshare uploader can redeem the premium rapidpoint/ free rapidpoint to create/extend the premium rapidshare account.
Reason Behind Stopping the RapidDonation & RapidPoint Programme:
- RapidShare AG has won an important victory in a copyright lawsuit against it in the United States. The case is Perfect 10, Inc. v. RapidShare AG, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California (San Diego). Rapidshare was sued because reward programme rewards the uploading of contents that are protected by copyright.
