Smoke Detector Alarm Was Turned Off In AMRI Hospital Kolkata By Smoker Doctor And Hospital Staff
93 hospitalized person were suffocated to death in AMRI hospital recently. In a study conducted by government team, revealed that most of the Smoke Detector Alarm was turned off in AMRI hospital.
It is widely known that No Smoking Policy is a mockery in Kolkata. West Bengal government turned blank eye into the public smoking incident. Most of the doctors & staff in the AMRI Hospital Kolkata are smoker. They even smoke into the hospital premises.
AMRI Hospital Kolkata was centrally Air Conditioned & Smoke Detector Alarm was fitted in every room. Still most of the smoker doctors & hospital staff turned off the Smoke Detector Alarm in order to smoke into the room with out any trouble. Hence no alarm was ringed when it ablaze.
This puffing habits is widely common in all offices in Kolkata & it can be also responsible for future AMRI like incident. Its now time for West Bengal Government to take stern action against smoker & implement a tough No Smoking Policy across West Bengal.
