Sun direct is a bad DTH in india because i dont get any signal from satelite my dth was dead it is too bad friends dont buy sun direct in my experience it is not working work properly and some time do not get some channels.we cant call customer it is too busy it is difficult buy and recharge,because recharge coupons are rare i think other dth services are bettar than sun direct in case of channels and other services

Sundirect was giving very good service until last month,But now a days customer service not resolving the problem,
1) My latest issue was about changing my plan,We placed a request to migrate from tamil basic to Mega shine pack on 13/08, but executive told us to remind on 17/08.so we called and placed a request, NO :0024528420. Subsequently recharged. Balance was Rs 163.But on 18/08 again we called customer care,But they told old tamil basic plan only activated,inspite of my previous month validity suppose to expieres on 18/08 midnight.So we again placed request to revert back to megashine pack REQUEST No :0024558813.
CC assured it will be rectified within 48 hrs.But no action has been taken.We called again on 19/08,again got assurence from manager it will be rectified by friday evening . No action taken.we called on 21/08.Spoke to Mr faizal Team leader of CC.got assured it will be rectified by same day evening.
2) We are not getting NDTV imagine channel from past one month.CC explained about the technical difficulties,so they told validity will be extended.But again this month adon cost deducted from my account. We placed request to revert back the same. Request :0024559363.Till today no action.
3) I activated Set maxx channel fro one month to watch one perticular movie. But same channel activated next month and subsequent money deducted from account,when we contacted CC they told it will be automatically activated as you have balance in your account.I told them to take request take request to from next month onwards it should be deactivated.But CC executive refused to take advance request.Call a day before.
4) No complaints has been resolved till now by CC only prolonging and asking to give fresh request and wasting my time;

Morever most the customer care executive does niether aware of the processs nor the product knowledge, very serious attention required.
I was recommending my friends to go for sundiredct to friends in my apartment,as it very good service. But my belief entirely changed from past one month.

16/10/2010 – I called Customer Care 040-39407575, due to server down they are unable to take my complaint. So I sent an email to nodalap@sun.direct.in (01:37PM).
(Day 2: Call No: 1 , Email No: 1)
17/10/2010 & 18/10/2010 – No Response from them.
19/10/2010 – Nodal AP replied my email and called me. As per their request I provided my address and contact details.
(Day 5: Call No:1, Email No: 2)
20/10/2010 04:55PM – I tried to reach Customer Care (39407575 / 30901300), but no response. So I sent an email to Nodal AP. Whole day Customer Care/Nodal AP phones are busy. Later I called the Chennai Customer Care and reported the issue
(Day 6: Call No: 2, Email: 5)
21/10/2010 – Called the Customer Care and reported the issue – Complaint No: 856828769.
05:00PM Called the Nodal AP(27957834) and enquired the Staus. Customer Executive lady said I am not the only Customer, will resolve the issue in 48 Hours and disconnected the phone. Again I tried to reach the same no, phone is ringing. But no one picked the phone. IRRESPONSIBILITY.
05:11PM Called the Customer Care 39407575 and reported the issue. Whiile asked the complaint Number Executive put music on hold and then disconnected the phone. GREAT ESCAPE/IRRESPONSIBILITY.
05:15PM Called the Customer Care 39407575 and spoke with Pavan. Raised the Complaint No: 859827824. He confirmed that issue will be resolved in half an hour.
05:26PM Called the Customer Care 39407575 and spoke with Srikanth. Requested for the Complaint Number as per him there is no Complaint number available in the process. CHEATER.
05:40PM Called the Nodal Andhrapradesh 27957836. Customer executive lady picked the phone. She said Technician will come my house before 22/10/2010 (tomorrow) evening and immediatley disconnected the phone.
I sent an email to Mr. RamaRao, Nodal AP officer. I asked him to give a call to me whenever he finds time. (Till now he didnt find any time! Very busy Man in Andhrapradesh)
(Day 7: Call No: 8, Email: 19)
22/10/2010 10:05AM called the Customer Care 39407575 and spoke with Ramana, as per him Distributor/Dealer will come to my house and resolve the issue before 05:00PM. Incase of any failure SUN DTH technician will resolve the issue by today.
03:55PM Called the Customer Care 39407575 and spoke with Rathnakar. He is saying Server is Down so unable to take the complaint. (Poor Infrastructure – 2nd Time Server down in few days)
03:56PM Called the Nodal AP and spoke with the Lady. As per her, she will check the Distributor/Dealer and let me know in 2 hours. Till now she didnt responded. Cheating Lady/Irresponsible/Poor Management.
(Day 8: Call No: 11, Email: 22)
22/10/2010 – Called the Customer Care and raised the complaint No: 8871321.

I am complaining to sundirect customer care from 26 Oct 2010 to reorient the dish to their new satellite direction. I was told it will take 3 days. Now it is More than a month. I spent telephone bill of one month subscription. But no luck. Every day i am told that inconvenience is regretted. It will be rectified soon. It will be done shortly. But no time of completion. No assurance when it will be done. May be they themselves don’t know how to sort out or when to sort out.

Sun Direct Service provides the very very worst customer support. Inspite of several calls and requests, no one turns up for attending the Problems. They are displaying a message as due to their movement to new satilite, their customer service person will come to our home and will do the reallignment for free of cost. But inspite of several calls and reminders no one turns up. When ever we call customer support, they say as ” Your request is taken” no other answer than this. Waste of time and money. Sun Direct has moved to a new Satellite. When I switch on my TV, I am getting a message saying “We have moved to a new satellite. Hence your Dish needs to be retuned to the new satellite immediately. Service on this satellite will stop shortly. Our distributor/Dealer will do the Dish adjustment free of cost. To enjoy uninterrupted programs/Channels please contact your nearest dealer/distributor immediately.”
It’s been more than two and half month passed. Day by day the no. of channels I am viewing is reducing but every month Sun direct charging for the total channels. Apparently Sun direct charging for the services which are not actually provided to me. I am very frequently calling Sun direct customer care and complaining them to provide the full services. So far five service request has been raised to restore the services for me on priority. As per the customer care people my request has been transferred to the Technical department 2 days back. But nothing happened.
Here I am loosing money in two ways.
1. I am paying for the services which I am not getting from Sun direct
2. I had to call Sun direct customer care very frequently to get the complete services.
As this is the problem with service provider (Sun direct) why should customer suffer with that? They should have engaged adequate staff to restore the services. Otherwise they should not charge for the services which they are unable to provide.
Since from last 3 month Sun direct mentally tortured me a lot. My family is also suffering a lot due to this. I have no patience to wait. I request you to kindly do the needful.

These Sundirect pepples are just after money. They dont need custmer satisfaction. We south indians live in mumbai recently have taken connection (6 months back)The service is O.K. all this five month. Suddenly one day we found a message on the tv screen that saying Dish re alignment to be done and we sent you our engineer to your home and it cost nothing. You will not believe we called custmer care 100 of times but but no engineer bastard was shown up.
lastly our nearest dealer said us if we are ready to give some money (150 rupees) he can come to fix it.
as we dont have other choice we agreed.
its started working. Now again we recharged with 200 rupees we not received any services. Its been 3 days from the date of recharge.

My VC No.41406144935, i have asked the customer care to add few channels to my basic pack. the customer care rep wrongly activated NGC Wild instead of NGC. I contacted the customer care to revert back to NGC, all my complaints went on to a deaf ear. The customer care only gave complaint numbers, and insist on geting activated NGC channel along with NGC Wild and they don’t want to deactivate NGC Wild. It has been 7 days, and to my surprise they did not activate even NGC as well….
I have used DISH DTH for 7 years and never faced this problem……. But seeing the cheap rates of Local channels (south) i purchased SUN DTH, it was a great mistake…. surely… SUN DTH has worst customer care.

The connection was not re-establshed after recharging. Then I called customer service. They restored the signal after one day. Again the next day service was disconnected. Do not know ‘where’ is the problem.
Definitely unsual service.

I am not able to view any channel for a week and I called so many times to customer care but no body listening to my problem. I am using sun direct for more than a year. I can truely suggest not to go for sun direct DTH service if any other service is available. These sameless donkey people never listen to the customer.

I have registered a complaint on 15 Jul 11 17 Jul 11 & 19 Jul 11 regarding no channel available in my TV. Every time I have to spend more than 10 to 15 minutes to customer care centre Number 011-39407575 but no response, for telephone we are losing 10 to 15 Rs for complaining and they are not attending for last one week.
