It is never safe to see solar eclipse with naked eye.The photospheric crescent emitted during solar eclipse can damage eye badly, even anyone may be blind.
So you should use filters usually have a thin layer of aluminum, chromium or silver deposited on their surfaces that attenuates ultraviolet, visible, and infrared energy.
Try to use a number 14 welder’s glass which is available in welding shop outlet.
Here I will give some common mistake of using filtter.
Don’t use:
- color film,
- some non-silver black and white film
- medical x-ray films with images on them,
- smoked glass
- photographic neutral density filters and polarizing filters.
Your eye may get comfort by using this. But these filter are unsafe. So stay away from risk.
