TRAI Fixed Rs 19 For Mobile Number Portability – Pay Rs19 For Mobile Number Portability

Telecom Regulator TRAI told that mobile companies can not changed more than Rs 19 from customer for switching from one network to another network under proposed Mobile Number Portability scheme.

TRAI also asked mobile operator to make there system ready by 31st December 2009 for proposed Mobile Number Portability scheme.

Mobile operator are free to change any amount equal to or less than Rs 19 to customer.TRAI expect that low change will make the competition tough betweeb mobile operator.Now mobile customer can switch to any other network just by paying Rs 19.Indian hailed the decision taken by TRAI.
